I’m also crocheting with a Bernat velvet yarn in quiet pink colour right at this moment. I’m trying to make my 2 year old a beanie. Omg I’m so bad! My chains are loose, but I’m doing this to get the practice and hand experience. I want to get the flow of how to hold the yarn. Practice makes perfect! There’s been many times where I want to give up but I’m no quitter. I would love to be at the level you’re at. 😊

I love listening to books and crocheting!! I also tried physically reading and crocheting but was getting a little dizzy from looking back and forth between them, lol! I always tell myself if you're not enjoying a book, totally okay and good to move on from it! Some romance authors that are worth checking out are Abby Jimenez, Emily Henry, Carley Fortune, and Katherine Center. Happy reading!!
Finally someone that crochets like I do!! I.e. not holding your pointer finger out, but wrapping the yarn around the hook with your other hand. :)

Felt this video so much. Going through a hard season also and the shows have been bust. I ended up holding off on shows for a bit till end of September I got two shows. Just needed that break to handle everything.
Give Hoopla a try. They have a lot of audiobooks on there. Also, Libby and Hoopla are fed by your local library, so if you have a small library that doesn’t have a lot of materials, your digital selections will be small.
I am VERY INTERESTED in your course for next year. I have a market coming up Aug 17th, and I’m no where near ready as I feel I should be. Yes, I’m stressed and I want to back out, but I think I need to tough through it.

Also, if you want some good clean fiction, check out anything by Robin Jones Gunn. She is my favorite.

I love listening to audiobooks while crocheting, too, but I mainly listen to fiction. I have found a lot of audiobooks on RUclips. Lately I've been into Stephen King books.

Hey Camryn! It’s Knysna, I was wondering what kind of Pom Poms you use for your beanies? I’ve used ones before that have a little loop of elastic you just sew on, but I’ve also seen ones that have a snap lock. And kind of just what is your process with putting your poms on? Give me all the tips! 🥰

What size hook do you use with the velvet? I'm so worried its going to get wormy (like velvet likes to do) and loops come creeping out. Especially once the customer takes the item home and possibly washes it.
